Remembering our first new picture

It was a year ago that we received our first "real" picture of Ian since sending our Letter of Intent for him. With his original file, his information was of an 8 month old boy and 6 months had passed. We had no idea how he had changed and weren't sure we would even get an update before travelling.

A family travelling to Ian's orphanage shortly after our acceptance of his file emailed me out of the blue and offered to take video and pictures for us. It was too good to be true. Imagine our shock when we saw that he was obviously not the average skinny Chinese baby. He had been well fed, for sure!

I'll replay the video another day, but for now, enjoy a comparison of Ian a year ago and today. What changes will the next year bring? It's unfathomable!
