Our Other Baby
Although the majority of our focus is on Ian, there is another half to "the boy and the bulldog" that gets left out more than she should. Polli! She's our other 2 year old, turning 3 next month.
She helped shape our parenting standard and was great practice in patience (especially during potty training) and responsibility. She is as important to us now as she was the day we brought her home and we couldn't imagine life without her. I still don't know how we survived 3 weeks in China without her around.
The picture above is with her new best buddy. She loves anything with stuffing (meaning Ian doesn't know what a stuffed animal is, dare the consequences) and it's not often that she spares one from her wrath. This one has earned a special place, at least for now.
One day, she'll become Ian's roommate. They're already true friends (except this afternoon when she touched him and he ran to me theatrically screaming TOES!). One day they'll be inseperable.

I have gone back to see the pictures of Ian and Pollis interaction because I think it's awesome! You really captured some great moments. I think it's great to raise a child with animals.
